To be Eligible for Work Permit

An employer-specific work permit enables you to work as specified in the conditions on your permit. These conditions typically include the authorized employer's name, the duration of your employment, and, if applicable, the designated work location
An open work permit enables you to work for any employer in Canada, with the exception of:
Employers marked as ineligible on the list of non-compliant employers.
